All Saints Take Part in Promoting DofE Award

All Saints pupils took part in filming a series of promotional videos to help children from around the country find out what it takes to achieve a DofE Award.

The DofE is all about going the extra mile – gaining new skills, pushing yourself physically, helping others and exploring new territories. At the same time, you’ll gather friendships, experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, as long as you’re 14 to 24, you can choose the activities that motivate you and go on your own personal journey.

Follow our pupil Lavine as she starts her DofE and chooses her activities

Watch our Bronze Award holder Carys grill her dad about how doing her DofE has benefitted her, how it's contributed to her future — and what his favourite moment was.

Watch our Silver Award holder Aman ask his mum about how doing her DofE has grown his independence, what she'd tell other parents and carers about the DofE — and if it's made him better at football.

All Saints Take Part in the ‘Keep Getting Better’ Campaign

All Saints has taken part in helping to launch the new Ambition Institute. Watch as our pupils and staff describe why it is important to Keep Getting Better.

Heira, Year 8: “I think it's great to #keepgettingbetter because you achieve your goals and turn out to be the person you want to be”.

Grace, Year 10: "I think it's important to #keepgettingbetter because it shows improvement; it shows how far you've come".

Mr Garvey, Associate Deputy Headteacher: “by trying to #keepgettingbetter at my job it means I can have a greater impact on the life chances of my pupils".

Ms. Martin, Pastoral Support Officer: "I'm not afraid to ask for advice".

Jenelle, Year 11: "Everyone deserves an equal opportunity".

Mr Diamond, Deputy Headteacher: "It's important to #keepgettingbetter because we need to continually improve the education standards that we're giving to our children".
